STAR provides a full array of individualized behavioral treatment programs for children and their families. STAR supports and treats children with disorders usually first diagnosed in infancy, childhood, or adolescence. This includes the treatment of Communication Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorders (i.e., Autism, Asperger's), and Disruptive Behavior Disorders. STAR utilizes Applied Behavior Analytic approaches to intervention.

These intervention approaches include Discrete Trial Training, Pivotal Response Training, Verbal Behavior, Picture Exchange Communication Systems, and Positive Behavior Supports. The array of STAR services aims to provide a continuum of support to children and families that respond to their changing needs across time.
